Reading Odds
Reading the price
Prices are shown in cents per share, from $0 to $1. The cent price is also the market’s implied probability — 62¢ is about a 62% chance in the eyes of the market.
YES and NO
Buying YES at p is equivalent to selling NO at 1 − p— the two books are merged. If YES trades at 62¢, NO trades at 38¢.
Depth-aware payouts
Purrbook walks the actual order book for your size. If your order is bigger than the best price level, the payout preview shows the real average price across levels — never a payout the book can’t actually deliver.
Why a fill can differ slightly
Prices move. Every order is slippage-guarded, so a fill can only land within the tolerance you saw at signing — if the book moves beyond it, the order simply doesn’t fill at the bad price.
