Connect & Deposit
Getting started takes a wallet, some USDC, and about a minute.
What you need
- A wallet (e.g. MetaMask or another EVM wallet).
- USDC on Hyperliquid. USDC is the only supported collateral.
1. Connect your wallet
Open the app and connect your wallet. Purrbook never takes custody — connecting just lets it read your account and prepare orders your browser will sign.
2. Approve a session key
You’ll approve a session key(also called an agent key) once. It lives only in your browser and lets orders sign instantly without a wallet popup on every click. It can only trade — it can never withdraw your funds — and you can revoke it any time from your Hyperliquid account settings.
3. Approve the builder fee (one time)
Your wallet will ask you to approve a one-time builder fee. This lets Purrbook earn its fee when you sell or cash out (see Fees). It’s capped and never gives Purrbook access to your funds.
4. Deposit
Use the deposit flow to move USDC into your own Hyperliquid account — funds go to youraccount, not to Purrbook. Withdrawals work the same way in reverse, any time; Purrbook can’t block or hold a withdrawal.
